Ronald S. Airrington, Allen Village Parent
My son began attending the Allen Village School in August of 2016 as a Kindergarten student. My wife and I have never been so confident in a decision about our son’s education. We chose Allen Village based on their renowned reputation for academics, the focus on core values such as integrity and Allen Village’s multiple academic clubs.
Allen Village is truly a supportive community; we are always greeted by multiple staff members –including the administration– on any visit to the campus. The teachers in our son’s academy are nurturing yet focused on making our son a morally and academically strong world citizen. The school facilities are immaculate. The student classrooms are large and clean, and structured to be interactive.
Parents are required to contribute 10 hours of community service through several opportunities such as reading to students, attending school programs and participating in the Box Tops program. These opportunities have allowed both my wife and me a chance to be involved in the culture of a great school and have provided us a chance to be hands on in our son’s education.
Our son is now an avid chess player through the school sponsored Chess Club and is learning to read music and has had the chance to develop his art skills through their rich Integrated Arts curriculum. Overall, we are confident that everyday our son is in a safe learning and social environment. We both would highly recommend this school for any student grades K-12.
