Application Details

Although many schools have application deadlines, most continue to accept applications for available seats on an ongoing basis.

Application Open: January 1, 2024
Enrollment Open: Open Enrollment begins in February.
Kindergarten Cutoff: September 1
Residence: Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area

How to Apply

Open enrollment. First come, first served. Contact the school to schedule an informational meeting at 816-643-6300 or moatis@providenceartskc.org. More detailed admissions information and application form is available on their website. All prospective kindergarteners are given an assessment on Kindergarten Readiness and base acceptance on the results.

Enrollment Requirements

  • Completed application
  • Birth Certificate
  • Current Immunization Record or Religious Exemption Statement
  • Most recent report card/transcript (not required for kindergarten applicants)

Public schools also require:

  • Proof of Address (also called “Proof of Residency”)
  • Parent or guardian photo ID

Please note that private schools are not required to participate in these exams.
