Points of Pride
- Part of a national network of diverse, high performing charter schools serving students in Los Angeles and New York, and now, Kansas City.
- CWC Kansas City’s model of curriculum and instruction is built to support diverse learners in the pursuit of understanding and connection. New ideas are connected to a student’s experiences and existing understanding of the world, in order to create personal and deeper meaning, rather than rote memorization.
- CWC’s academic model supports and depends upon connections with self, one’s community, and the world. Our model supports this development through social emotional learning (SEL), which we believe to be as integral to an excellent education as traditional academic subjects.
The Open Application dates for the 2018-2019 school year begin November 1 and end February 23. We will hold a lottery of all eligible applications in early March; applications received after 2/23 will be placed on a waiting list in the order received.
If you have questions regarding the process, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the CWC Kansas City Enrollment Office at (816) 550-5276.
