Tiffany Price, Hogan High School Parent
We have been a part of the Ram Family for 4 years now. My son is a sophomore at Hogan High School and started at Hogan Middle School four years ago. Structure and values are what brought us to Hogan. One thing that I admired most about the school was in order for the students to be admitted into the classroom, they had to be prepared. Prepared for Hogan is within the dress code including your student ID and proper supplies (binder, minimum of 2 pencils, and paper). I feel that makes the kids accountable and prepared for a successful class, day etc. What I have observed about the school’s leadership and teachers is that they all care. It is impossible for all of them to take on the roles and involvement that they do and not care. They are very passionate about what they do and our children’s success. The high school has a warm feeling when you walk inside. It may be an old building in age but it is driven by youth. I have been involved with the school in so many ways possible for myself. We participate in many community events around the city such as the City School Fair, Mental Health Awareness Block Party, and I visit the school. The school offers tutoring, sports, and plenty of community service projects for the students to participate in. I love Hogan!
