By now, you may have heard the exciting news: Citizens is becoming Midtown Community School.

Effective July 1st, the school will officially transition to its new name, Midtown Community School.

This change seeks to honor the Midtown Community School Initiative—the founding group of families who established the school’s vision over a decade ago. Moving forward, the school will operate entirely under the Midtown Community School banner, reflecting its deep commitment to being rooted in and reflective of the community it serves.

We look forward to seeing this next chapter unfold as Midtown Community School continues serving families in the heart of Kansas City.
