Points of Pride

Part of a national network of high-performing charter schools serving students in Los Angeles and Kansas City.
Our model is built to support learners with a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. New ideas are connected to student experiences and existing understanding of the world, rather than rote memorization.
Our model supports this development through social emotional learning (SEL), which we believe to be as integral to an excellent education as traditional academic subjects.

“This year our son has had the opportunity to participate in the Citizens of the World 3rd grade classroom at Operation Breakthrough. It has quite honestly changed his life. He was struggling in a conventional classroom setting but the hands-on, fully immersive approach to learning offered at Operation Breakthrough has revolutionized his attitude not only toward school and learning as a whole but also toward himself. He is thriving and is genuinely excited about school now. We are SO thankful for the OB team and what they’ve done for our son.”
